Alimar Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is established in 2002. The machinery was imported from the homeland of Surimi, Japan. In the first quarter of 2004, the production started with RED TIGER brand after receiving the production, nutrition and enrollment certificates. In the meanwhile, European Union export permit has been obtained. After the completion of the production facilities in 2004, Alimar A.S. started producing under the brand name
“Red Tiger” , the Surimis that it used to import. With it’s management that prioritizes health and development, the company has obtained the challenging BRC certificate with an A Grade.

As the products entered the retail sector, in 2004 its product portfolio has increased to a level for us to understand that Red Tiger has a future. The company has understood the importance of research and development and started combining Asian tastes with Turkish to render the products acceptable by Turkish consumers. The portfolio started with only crab products then in a short period of time it expanded to salmon and lobster tastes. In fresh products group, the newest update is the traditionally pickled products. The marinated salad is expected to be the necessary dish of the appetizer list.
It is being sold as
“Red Tiger” brand in national grocery chain stores. As time goes by, our company which is the only Surimi production premises in the Balkans and Middle East, will shape it’s productions accordingly to consumer’s inclinations.
